The COVID-19 outbreak has affected all aspects of our lives, including marketing. Even if most businesses are not health-related, they are trying to incorporating the pandemic into their content and messaging.
While many are still struggling to figure out exactly how to stay relevant and appropriate during such an unprecedented time, ixigo has come up with an amazing advertisement.
This attempt by ixigo will only solidify their image in people's subconscious, and it will probably be the first brand they'll remember when we finally start traveling. (I hope that is soon!)
Not many people are thinking of traveling. Out of 10, 9 are not even ready to think about short term or medium term travel unless it is warranted for. Given these conditions, not many people are thinking of starting a travel business, leave alone advertising it. But smart businesses know that even though the market is down, this is exactly the time they can lay the groundwork for the future.
